When time permits I enjoy lecturing on imagery and perception. A lecture can be anything from 45 minutes to 3 hours. I have an extensive collection of images to draw from – my own artwork, as well as pictures from the entire history of art can be used. I cut across the borders between eras and seek out the intersections and rewarding meetings in the enormous world of art. Breaking standard opinions and stretching the imagination is an ongoing theme. The lectures have titles such as “Meetings in life and art” and “Stretching the brain to reach the core” and can be combined with various workshops: simple creativity exercises with paper, scissors and glue sticks, or large painting exercises on canvas during whole or half-days. My audiences have been everything from small art associations to large international companies, from 10 people to 150.
